We are…
…a creative team out of Boston, MA (U.S.A). We realize that through the years, a lot of our random rants and spewings (inspired by Bollywood, Doordarshan, college slang, and general desi B.S.) were getting lost with each grey cell that succumbed to alcohol. Extremely saddening that was! One Sunday afternoon, we threw our hands up, and cried, "Enough! We need to save this for posterity!" Along came the idea of wearing our thoughts. And we figured, what better way to do that than to give everyone an opportunity to wear the products of our more fertile sessions on t-shirts and sweatshirts? (Matlab ki, thoda khao, thoda pheko…)
Indobundee happened sometime in July of 2005 (now, we really don't remember when) and it’s been one crazy, exciting, and a fun-filled project. Our well-wishers, shoppers (and the ones who just visit the website) have been very instrumental in making Indobundee a success in the desi world, and continue to do so!
We deeply believe in free speech, Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda, Mithunda, Amol Palekar (okay,...Lalita Pawar too), and Laloo Prasad. We’re great lovers of languages (especially accents)…Hindi, Bhojpuri, Bambaiya, Tamil. Teasing people? We do that too. And we like all things raapchick, OK nahaney ka BADA saabun and Tobu Cycles. We love music, hindi songs, hindi hip-hop, pop culture, chai, chooran, chyawanprash, food (Indian buffet especially), and drinking (JW Red, JW Black, soda, ice).
Buy a tee or two for yourself, gift one to your mom (or maybe not), write us and tell us what you think. Trust us, we can take anything. Please don't put us on a spam list.
